Meet two awesome people.
These two tied the knot this past August at a beautiful venue here in the Kansas City area…the Weston Red Barn Farm. Let’s not jump ahead here. You might be thinking, “Those first few images are not in a red building… and certainly not a barn!” We had a blast hanging out with their family and friends the night before at their wedding rehearsal and dinner at 2000 Grand… above The Cashew. It was such a good time watching two families sharing laughs together and being goofy during the rehearsal.
OK… now the wedding day!
The makeup for the bride and bridesmaids was some of the best we have seen. Why do I mention this? Well, it isn’t very often that the bride herself takes care of her attendants’ makeup as well as her own! She rocked it too!
The view was magnificent! The ceremony location, situated outdoors on a hill, overlooked miles and miles of beautiful land. After a beautiful ceremony, the guest made a short trek back to the barn where the party took place! So many people, excited to see each other, had such a great time celebrating with Brenden + Jessie.
At the end of the night, we were able to sneak Brenden + Jessie away from their friends for a short time for them to be alone with the cameras. A beautiful night portrait of them was the result!
