We love it when a bride and groom decide that their wedding day is going to be exactly what they want. Seriously. It fuels our creative fire to see people step outside expectations and show off their uniqueness and distinctness. When we can actually see a couple’s story, their history… when we can see their heart in every element of the day, it rocks our faces off (to put it the way one of our past brides would say).

SO true for Nick and Cece. They had the most special and perfect day. They chose a morning ceremony with an intimate luncheon following. SO them. Their entire day had this beautiful soft and romantic feel interwoven into everything. Which is pretty spot on for how their relationship looks. You’ve heard us say it time and time again. We LOVE to capture what your relationship feels like, not just what your smiles look like. Sound familiar?? Nick and Cece’s relationship is tender and sweet. It’s fierce, but with its own kind of quietness that doesn’t require the world to take notice. We really think you’ll get a sense of what we mean after looking through their images. They have huge hearts and value each other so deeply.

And, did you know Cece was an exchange student in high school? I know, so cool, right? Sadly, her American mom couldn’t make it to the wedding, so she did LITERALLY the MOST special thing we’ve ever seen at a wedding. She chose to wear her American mom’s wedding dress as her own. Talk about putting your heart into your day! The wedding dress a bride chooses for her one-and-only wedding day is something special. What a massive show of honor and love to choose your mom’s dress! And boy, was it perfection on Cece! This decision truly did take my (Julie’s) breath away when I learned this!

Nick and Cece, thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts, for letting us into your lives for such a big day. We were so touched by you guys and loved being there! Welcome to the married club!!
