What is a session with MIKE + JULIE like?
You’ll spend your time with us laughing, playing a few games, having a stress-free, FUN time. We WILL ask you to smile for the camera, but we’ll do it with style and hopefully a bit of entertainment (which is code for Mike will make odd sounds and jump over Julie’s head-true story). We always do a mix of natural posing and candid shots. Don’t expect it to be a ‘smiling at the camera the whole time’ type of session. We firmly believe it’s important to capture not only what y’all look like at this moment in time, but just how much y’all love each other.
How do I book/reserve my session?
Click the link above for the booking site. Select your date and time (note which location is available on your selected date). You will sign your portrait contract and pay your session fee. That’s all there is to besides showing up for the session. Doesn’t get much easier than this!
What if the weather is bad on the day of my session or someone is sick?
Life happens and we totally understand. If for some reason the session can’t happen, we’ll need advanced notice (3 hours before the session or more) in order to offer you an alternate date for free. You will select from any additional openings we have. The same goes for if someone is sick. If it happens that there are no more dates available, we will refund your money minus the credit card fee.
What if I am late to my session?
Due to the amount of time allotted at your session and the likelihood that we have a session after yours, arriving on time is pretty dang important. A late arrival of 10 minutes is considered a no-show and requires a$75 rescheduling fee.
What happens after the session?
Once your session is over, you will receive an email from us 5-7 business days after your session with a link to download your collection of digital images. Then, just get on with enjoying your images any way you want!
Can you help me with what to wear at my session?
Aaaaabsolutely, we can! We even made a whole blog post about it, check it out here: WHAT TO WEAR to my fabulous session with MIKE + JULIE. But, our biggest concern is that you choose clothing that you feel GREAT in. When you feel good, it shows.
