I think this couple in particular will appreciate some cheerful news this morning after last night’s game. Connor and Megan are AVID Royals fans who were cheering on the team long before the post-season excitement. Hopefully, this first glance at our favorites from your day lift your spirits a bit! For those of you who don’t know Connor and Megan they are high school sweet hearts who have a huge heart for each other and their family. The union of two families is always a really cool thing, but these two families really love being together. That element tied this day together in a special and unique way. The camaraderie between the dads in particular was fun to witness. You could really tell they had a good time that day. But, where to begin on describing the rest of their day? Genuine, sincere, classy, freakin’ gorgeous. The Longview Mansion has got to be one of the most beautiful places in all of Kansas City to get married. We’re not trying to pimp anybody out, just sayin’ it like it is.

Connor’s nerves throughout the day were, let’s say, palpable. This guy is SO in love with her, I mean SO in love. To say he was excited and anxious is an understatement. Watching him as the big moment drew nearer was one of our favorite parts of the day. Their ceremony was very cool. The pastor did something that we’ve only seen one other time. She, one, turned them to face the guests-which I imagine is nerve wracking, but makes oh so sweet images! Two, she had them each write a love letter to each other which she read aloud. You can see for yourself what a treasure it was to capture those reactions.

Now here’s what made their day over the top supa fabulous. The family planned and rehearsed a secret flash mob-with a confetti cannon at the end! We told you these families were tight. And if that weren’t enough, the parents secretly planned a fireworks display for Connor and Megan to enjoy. Wowza… mind blown. And to witness it for two of the most down to earth, genuine people makes our hearts happy.
