How We Create Successful Sessions

How do we know if we need to head into a family session full energy… or if we need to spend a few minutes at the beginning of the session just sitting and playing with your kiddo, who might be a little shy, to help them get more comfortable with the what’s going on?

When you choose to trust us to document your family we take that honor VERY seriously. Not only are you choosing to invest your time and money for us to provide you some beautiful family photos, but these are YOUR MEMORIES of this time in your lives. You don’t get them back.

One of the (many) things we do to ensure you and your kids have a session that exceeds your expectations is getting to know each member of your family. When we get the 411 on the personalities and interests of everyone, rather than just names, we know the best approach to take to get everyone comfortable in front of the camera and having a great time. Yes… dad included!

We gather this info from the best possible source: YOU!

When you choose us to be your family historian, we will gather info from you such as family member names and their personalities/temperament, favorite activities you do as a family, and more! These juicy details help us plan for the best possible session crafted just for your posse.

Some of the best examples of this effort have come into play when one of our families has a kiddo who is on the Autism Spectrum. Knowing this ahead of time, along with that kiddo’s interests and personality, allows us to approach the session in a manner that fits not just them, but everyone, best!
