Kansas City Chiefs Watch Party :: The UNportrait Experience
THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!
In just under two weeks, the best professional football team in the history of history, the Kansas City Chiefs, will once again be heading to the Big Game. This season was hard fought, but after enduring several gut punches during the regular season, they made it to that game… You know, the one they play in between all the witty commercials. We figured with your Chiefs party in the planning stages, it was a great time to post about one of our more recent and unique UNportrait Experiences.
What’s The UNportrait Experience? So glad you asked! The UNportrait Experience is our name for our documentary sessions when we go full-on “capture the moment” mode. The UNportrait Experience is what we like to refer to as our “anti-portrait” session. It helps paint a better picture of what it’s about, right? Generally, this session jumps into documenting a day in the life of your family. The joy, fun, activities, and maybe even a few boo-boos.
Giving your family tangible photos of how life FELT… rather than only how everyone looked while they were dressed up and smiling at the camera.
So whether it’s the Big Game to you or the Commerical Break Bowl… you’ll enjoy this group of friends living their best life!
This family asked to document one of their Chiefs game watch parties. The family who invited us to photograph their party hosts a watch party EVERY Chiefs game of the season. During these games, their home is filled with friends and family… kids and adults! Football food is in abundance, and on the days when the weather is good, they have a firepit with smores on the menu. This was the week 8 game against the Denver Broncos.
Yes. That game. I told you there were a few gut punches earlier this season.
Although this particular game didn’t turn out exactly how we all wanted it to (24-9 Broncos)… you wouldn’t be able to tell from the faces in the photos. If I’m being honest… I did fear a bit for my safety since I didn’t know how superstitious the group was. I didn’t want anyone to think I was the variable in the room at the party that caused the Chiefs’ loss. Thankfully, I did escape with my life and there were no hard feelings against me.
Enjoy reliving this emotional Chiefs game day. And be sure to check out the last couple of photos to see how they chose to display their memories.
Planning an epic party for The Big Game… be sure to give us a shout!
