Ben + Ginny :: Kansas City Wedding

Welcome to one of the sweetest, craziest and most fun weddings ever. Ben and Ginny’s Kansas City Plaza wedding was filled from beginning to end with tremendous joy and fun and a crazy crazy bridal party. It just so happens that we think crazy crazy bridal parties are kinda awesome. What better way to spend your wedding day than with people who will party along side you from start to finish? Kudos to this group for making Ben and Ginny’s day perfect. I won’t lie though, getting all 24 of them to look at us at once was a little bit tricky, but nothing JSi couldn’t handle.

We started our day with around 20 ladies crammed into one room and boy did they make it work! The poor gents had nearly the same situation. With laughter and even a few tears, the beautiful bride stepped into her gown. It was touching to see one of her best friends tear up as she got dressed. Ginny, you truly are the most beautiful bride. Inside and out, girl. Ginny’s family has grown up attending The Community Christian Church (t designed by Frank Lloyd Wright). A tradition for this church is to go to the rooftop for the Plaza lighting ceremony. Thankfully, we were able to do their first look on the roof. What a magnificent view!!! You really have to see their beautiful first look. The way she looks at him is filled with complete love and adoration.

And shut the front door, a man who wipes away a tear as you walk down the aisle is an absolute keeper. Ben! We caught it all! You keep on loving that girl just like that. Once the ceremony was over we headed to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art for portraits. And you will NEVER guess what we saw. ANOTHER bridal party with just as many people in their wedding party!!! You bet we stopped and took some fun group photos of this moment! How often does that happen?! After the most FUN group pictures EVAH we had the chance to get these two alone. Man, we wish we could photograph them everyday. Such happiness, makes our photographer hearts VERY happy.

We ended our day at Terrace on Grand. A grand party is was indeed (haha, had to do it)! Thank you guys for letting us capture some sweet memories. Congratulations on becoming MR & MRS!! Now, I fully expect every member of your handsome bridal party to leave you some love in the comments.

Blessings~MIKE + JULIE

In addition to the vendors listed above, I want to include Tim Whitmer, Millie Edwards, and Steven Smith and the Silverwood Quartet as the incredible musicians who added so much to the ceremony.
