We started our two-day wedding extravaganza at the Webster House for the Ladies’ Luncheon and the J. Rieger and Co. Distillery for the men to do a little bonding over the super amazing Kansas City Whiskey that Andy produces. The evening was capped off with their rehearsal followed by a dinner at the Rieger Hotel Grill and Exchange.

Day 2 started *bright* and early… Well, ‘bright’ isn’t really the best way to describe the morning of April 18th, 2015. If you recall, we had a teensy amount of rain (insert sarcastic face). Oh my, it stormed that morning… But, with our freakin’ sweeeeeet rain plan at the Kauffman Center, what’s a little rain? One of my favorite sets of images from the day was during the preparations when both Andy and Lucy took a moment to peek out the window to watch the rain fall down. I can only imagine the rush of feelings, just waiting for the day to get going, the anticipation, hoping and wondering if the rain would let up.

It did, by the way. Can you believe the SUN actually peeked out during family portraits in front of the church? What a wonderful, crazy day.

So, of course, you know how wedding days go. They said, “I do,” they kissed, and then it was time to P-A-R-T-Y! The reception was at the Hilton President downtown and this was a party for the history books. I can’t even begin to describe this evening… Hey – that’s why we’re photographers. Go look at the images already.

Andy + Lucy – wow. Thank you SO MUCH for making us such a huge part of the tremendous day in your lives. We have truly loved getting to know you over this past year and wish you the happiest marriage!
