What would you think if I told you these two got engaged the day they met? Wha??? Yep, for real. For the record, Andy DID ask Lucy to marry him on the night they met using a little bit of gold wire from a cheap bottle of wine. Little did either of them know what a prediction that would be. Andy and Lucy moved home to Kansas City from Dallas to restart Andy’s great-grandfather’s great-great-great-grandfather’s pre-prohibition whiskey company, J. Rieger and Co (which makes Mike happy). They love their good ole’ KC and wanted some beautiful Kansas City locations to be part of their engagement pictures. We started our time at the incomparable Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, hopped over to the Kauffman Gardens (Lucy loves all things outdoors and blooming), and finished up at the Liberty Memorial. It was a whirlwind KC tour, just check out the results! We just love these two. Never without smiles, laughter and happiness just follow these two around. You’ll notice how much fun they had at their session. We love what Lucy had to say about their relationship and couldn’t say it any better ourselves:
