Telling stories is our favorite. That’s why we are so proud to share these images with you, especially on the cusp of our country’s birthday. Happy Fourth of July everyone!! Chemitra reached out to us in hopes we could document her promotion ceremony. After more work than you or I could imagine, she was being promoted to Army Major. 

WHAAAT? HOW COOL!

What an honor to capture all of it. Not just the ceremony itself, but all of the emotions that day. Chemitra’s nerves leading up to the ceremony, listening to her family and general tell past stories about her and watching her reactions. Her family was so proud as they pinned her new shoulder boards on her uniform.

Can you imagine having an image of your husband and daughter looking at you and being so absolutely proud of you? Isn’t that image worth having forever?? We even have a picture of mom catching Chemitra giving her a sassy look behind her back. Of course, every mom knows when that face is happening, no matter how old your babies are. And we caught it!!

You see, to us, ‘event coverage’ is all these things. It’s about so much more than documenting what happened. It’s always about capturing everything we see happening in front of us. We’re always hunting for where the story is at that moment. Sometimes it’s the smallest little thing and we just know we need to capture it.  

We’re so grateful for the chance to be there for such a massive event in your life Chemitra! CONGRATULATIONS on this achievement. Although we’ve only just met you, we’re so stinkin’ proud of you!
