One of the coolest things about doing this job is navigating life with our JSi peeps. We don’t really consider ourselves just ‘wedding photographers’ or just ‘portrait photographers’ specifically, more like your family’s official storytellers.

We want to be there when your wedding story turns into your ‘oh my goodness, we’re parents now!’ story. Seriously, it’s watching you navigate the mountains, the valleys, the pitfalls, and the overwhelming joys of life that make us get up int he morning and run to grab our cameras.

We were so grateful to watch Brooks and Elizabeth do this very thing recently. Brooks and Elizabeth started out as a JSi couple getting married on New Year’s Eve 2013 and last Fall added sweet Miss A to their family. We were stoked to capture their overwhelmed joy (first time parents, you remember what it was like) in those first fews days of parenthood! We LOVE how excited they are for all the experiences to come. We LOVE how totally and completely in love they both are with their beautiful little girl… and who could ever leave out big brother Riggy? He totally stole the show at the end there…
