Welcome to part 3 in our series about our new
“ONE-on-ONE, LIVE-STREAMING, STAY IN YOUR PAJAMAS” CAMERA CLASS
This series of posts will be talking about what we consider to be the 3 main elements to good photography: technical, artistic, emotional. These make up the 3 core sections of our class. Take peek at week 1, the overview. All of this will make so much more sense once you do! Then, don’t forget to read last week’s post about the technical part of this class.
Artistic
Have you ever looked at a photo and wondered why it was so compelling or fun to look at? Why some pictures are boring while others seem to really draw you in? Some pictures just look “better.” We’re here to show you why that is and how to accomplish it in your own images! This mysterious element that takes your images to the next level is called composition. Thoughtful composition can make a good image great and will really level up the pictures you take.
During your one-on-one class, we will dive in-depth on what composition is, what it means, and why you want it in your imagery. Then, we’ll touch on a few easy composition techniques you can immediately start using to make your photos more compelling. Don’t miss this. In just a few minutes, you’ll have specific and easy-to-use tips to take better photos.
