The Glasgow Family :: The Value of Trusting Your Photographer

(read in the voice of Morgan Freeman) This is the story of a family who trusted their photographer when all seemed lost. 

Oooh, now that we’ve dropped such an epic teaser, have we piqued your interest? Ok, it may not be as dramatic as all that, but it made for a good hook! 

First off, we can’t put into words just how much we adore this family. We were so excited to get them in front of our cameras. But, for anyone who’s ever been a member of the human race before, they know that sometimes you’re just not into pics. Am I right? On this particular day, sweet little Natalie was just not having it. This was evidently not her jam and she was OK with letting you know that. And the thing is guys, we’ve all been there. Try as you might, sometimes you’re just not in the mood for pictures. You just wanna snuggle up at home and eat some snacks. We get it. This is when it’s more important than ever to trust your photographers to turn the situation around.

We sensed that Natalie needed some more time to warm up before jumping into photos and that was totally OK with us. We always want to respect the attitudes and energy of every single person in front of our camera. We never want to push anyone forward with pictures that they just don’t feel good about. Our number one goal is to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible. Because when you feel comfortable that’s when you show up in front of our cameras as your most glorious self.

Now, who couldn’t help but smile once they had a chance to play on the playground, chase their parents pretending to be a monster, and get a lollipop? In our book, it’s not a win unless we know we’ve gotten your REAL smile. I think Natalie gave us her approval in the end!
