Our Goal

Whatever you do, if you haven’t seen the update to our website’s home page… be sure to check it out before you leave!

We decided to change our home page up a bit to make one of our main mission more clear to folks who happen upon our own little section of the interwebs. That mission is to help families redefine what they think family photos need to be and embrace documenting their families now, for the future. If your goal is to focus more on the unique personalities and relationships of your crew rather than that perfectly posed and polished photo… welcome!

We want y’all to realize that you don’t have to have a perfectly posed family session in the park if you don’t want to, because “that’s the way it is done.” We feel strongly that a session should not just represent the smiling faces of your family, but also the personality, activities, interactions, and dynamics of your (most of the time) favorite people. What’s great is this doesn’t look the same for everyone… so put your own family’s stamp on it!

Family photos don’t need to be:

stiff.

a chore.

perfectly posed and smiling at the camera.

staged.

Family photos can be:

relaxed.

fun.

candid.

authentic and showcase your family’s real personality.
